Carrot Madness!!!

There is no invitation for this event- you simply participate! On May 15th around 2pm thousands of people are expected to head to their grocers to buy carrots. Just carrots. Lots of carrots... for no reason. Check out the official site for more info at http://www.panicbuyers.co.nr/. If you can not get to the store around 2pm do it when you can. If anyone comments about people buying carrots or why you are buying JUST carrots simply explain you woke up with this crazy craving for carrots.
The following Saturday mid afternoon we'll be meeting somewhere to do something with the carrots- but where and what I can not tell you yet! (you know the drill!)
are we putting the carrots anywhere specific, on a boston land mark or something?
yea that'd be wickedd cool if we all put it at a specific place somewhere downtown
we've come up with something wild to do with them. ^_^ details to come

Would it make a bigger impact if we all choose one store to go to?
stores don't really stock that many carrots- they'd be wiped out in no time if we all went to the same store- not to mention a lot of members live as much as 2 hours away. the following day however we will meet in a common location for some clean carrot fun
Does the kind of carrot matter? Do we have to get regular sized carrots? Can we buy bags of baby carrots or will that not work with what you have planned? Just want to clarify what kind of carrots I'm expected to buy. I wouldn't want anybody to show up with cans of diced carrots and be so left out.
Also, what should we say if grocery staff ask us if we know why everyone is buying so many carrots?
Something about rabbits mass producing, perhaps?
Get regular full sized carrots. You can make up your own reason for why you suddenly have to have so many carrots. :-)
New here. Where do we sign up to find out where in Boston we will deposit the carrots? Thanks!
I don't believe it's been announced yet what exactly we will be doing with the carrots. It's not for another 2 months so we got time :D

The first day we are buying them independently- though if you want to arrange a mass carrot rush on your own please feel free. Nothing is being organized on this end but send a call out to your local peeps and bombard the express aisles. The second day we'll be getting together with our carrots for some good clean carroty fun time.
