BostonSOS Caroling Choir

carolers
On Sunday, December 14th a total of 17 improveratti arrived at the Brookline Hills T stop to form the first ever BostonSOS Caroling Choir... of Terror.
After picking up our song books and rehearsing a couple songs we began to perform a rousing rendition of Jingle Bells for those returning home off the Green Line.
"Oh what fun it is to ride in a one horse open sleigh- Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle bells..." and on and on till the slightly concerned travelers were out of site. We also made sure to hit a few houses, performing gems such as: -Silent Fart by Rex Ungericht -Tis The Time To Spend On Credit by Cynthia Bage -a version of The Christmas Song where every word was replaced with a similar sounding word -a super slow-mo version of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer -My Heart Will Go On from the movie, Titanic -Total Eclipse of the Heart as sung by Bonnie Tyler Then in true BostonSOS spirit we treated (tortured?) riders of the Green Line D train with a seemingly spontaneous go of Rudolph the Rednose Reindeer in all its 3rd grade glory ("like a light bulb!"). You can listen to it (and the passengers giggling) in the playlist above! HAPPY HOLIDAYS! Thanks to Chris Andrews for supplying us with photos and Nick Carlisle for capturing the audio!

Thanks to all of you who came out braving the cold to sing your hearts out! Wow! You guys sounded great (except for that part where we all sung different carols at the same time...)! I was really impressed! We'll have to make an album next year! Till next time... Happy Holidays!
